Snellville, GA – Rollover Accident at GA-78 & Ross Rd Intersection
Snellville, GA (August 23, 2021) – At 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, August 23, a rollover accident occurred at an intersection in Snellville.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-78 and Ross Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. One of the vehicles rolled over immediately at the scene, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the crash. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Annistown Road as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
