Snellville, GA – One Killed in Fatal Accident at GA-124 & Everson Rd
Snellville, GA (August 10, 2022) – One person lost their life in a fatal car accident that took place at an intersection in Snellville on Tuesday, August 9.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of SR-124 and Everson Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time and collided with each other. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One person, who has since been identified by police, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. It is not believed that anyone else was hurt in the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays in the area for a period of time.
