Smyrna, GA (April 8, 2022) – Around 7 a.m. on Friday morning, April 8, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Smyrna.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Cooper Lake Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
