Smyrna, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Windy Hill Rd & Village Pkwy
Smyrna, GA (October 5, 2021) – At 8:21 a.m. on Tuesday morning, October 5, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Smyrna.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Windy Hill Road and Village Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
A lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
