Smyrna, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Windy Hill Rd & Reed St
Smyrna, GA (January 8, 2022) – At 4:41 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, January 8, a car crash with injuries occurred in Smyrna.
Police confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Windy Hill Road and Reed Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after entering the intersection. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles, which had to be towed from the scene.
Cobb County responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the intersection was entirely blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling through to use Spring Road as an alternate route.
