Smyrna, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Cumberland Blvd & Spring Hill Pkwy
Smyrna, GA (January 6, 2022) – Police confirmed that on Thursday, January 6, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Smyrna.
Cobb County officials were called to the scene of the crash at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Cumberland Boulevard and Spring Hill Parkway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, forcefully colliding with one another. The involved vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to severe damages.
Numerous responders, including local paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, most lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. Police urged travelers to avoid the area until the scene was cleared.
