Smyrna, GA – Car Crash at Spring Rd & Carolyn Dr Intersection
Smyrna, GA (August 10, 2021) – At 6:23 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, August 10, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Smyrna.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Spring Road and Carolyn Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
