Smyrna, GA – Car Crash at S Cobb Dr & S Cobb Industrial Blvd Intersection

Smyrna, GA (October 2, 2021) – At 7:22 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, October 2, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Smyrna.

According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and South Cobb Industrial Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
