Smyrna, GA – Car Accident at E-W Connector & Cooper Lake Rd Intersection
Smyrna, GA (July 26, 2021) – At 10:15 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 26, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Smyrna.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of East-West Connector and Cooper Lake Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
