Savannah, GA – Two-Vehicle Rollover Accident in NB Lanes of I-95
Savannah, GA (December 10, 2021) – On Friday afternoon, December 10, a two-vehicle rollover accident occurred in Savannah.
According to Pooler Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of the Pooler Parkway. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, causing one of the vehicles to land in the ditch and roll onto its side. The vehicles sustained severe damages as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was trapped in the rolled vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. Drivers from both vehicles were taken to local hospitals, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes except for one were closed in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
