Savannah, GA – Two Injured in Serious Car Crash on Victory Dr
Savannah, GA (April 17, 2021) – Around 3 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 17, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Savannah.
According to Savannah Police, the accident happened on Victory Drive near the area of Whitaker Street. A driver was traveling in the area and operating a pickup truck when he suddenly lost control of his vehicle. It went off the side of the road and forcefully struck a building.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. A driver and passenger in the pickup truck were seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Nobody was inside the building that was struck.
All lanes of Victory Drive were blocked for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
