Savannah, GA – Two Injured in Pedestrian Crash Involving Truck on Stiles Ave
Savannah, GA (June 8, 2021) – On Monday morning, June 7, a pedestrian accident involving a truck in a building happened in Savannah.
According to police, the accident took place at a home at 1200 Stiles Avenue. A large truck was traveling in the area when the driver lost control and drove the truck off the side of the road. The truck slammed into a home on Stiles. The home was left with extensive damages and is now condemned due to the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. Nine adults and six children were displaced from the home. One of those children and the driver of the truck were injured and hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the home for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
