Savannah, GA – Rollover Crash at King George Blvd & Abercorn St
Savannah, GA (August 15, 2021) – On Sunday, August 15, a rollover crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Savannah.
According to the Savannah Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of King George Boulevard and Abercorn Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. One of the involved vehicles rolled over. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Three victims were injured as a result of the crash. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time until the scene was fully cleared.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
