Savannah, GA – Pedestrian Accident at Mills B Lane Blvd & Edwin St
Savannah, GA (October 12, 2021) – At 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday morning, October 12, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Savannah.
According to Savannah Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Mills B. Lane Boulevard and Edwin Street. A man was walking in the area when he started to cross the intersection. He was suddenly struck by an oncoming vehicle that was traveling in the area. The driver remained at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was seriously injured in the collision. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time at the intersection. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
