Sandy Springs, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at Riverside Dr & Fair Oaks Manor
Sandy Springs, GA (November 10, 2021) – At 3:44 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 10, a two-vehicle crash occurred in Sandy Springs.
According to the Sandy Springs Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Fair Oaks Manor. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided after entering the intersection. The vehicles, identified as a sedan and an SUV, were damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, Riverside Drive was blocked in both directions for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
