Sandy Springs, GA – One Injured in Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-285
Sandy Springs, GA (February 5, 2023) – At 4 a.m. on the morning of Friday, February 3, one person sustained serious injuries in a truck accident in Sandy Springs.
According to the Sandy Springs Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Roswell Road. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in a small sedan when they were involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved sedan was badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to assist those in need.
