Sandy Springs, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-285 Near Roswell Rd
Sandy Springs, GA (June 28, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on the morning of Monday, June 28, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Sandy Springs.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Roswell Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in two left lanes for a period of time, which led to delays in the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
