Sandy Springs, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-285 Near Riverside Dr
Sandy Springs, GA (June 3, 2021) – At 9 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, June 3, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Sandy Springs.
According to police, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Riverside Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved sustained severe damages due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
