Sandy Springs, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-285 Near Riverside Dr
Sandy Springs, GA (April 11, 2021) – Before 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, April 11, a multi-vehicle crash took place in Sandy Springs.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Riverside Drive when two or more vehicles collided. It is not known what caused the exact circumstances of the accident but the accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Three left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
