Sandy Springs, GA – Four-Vehicle Collision on GA-400 Leads to Injuries
Sandy Springs, GA (July 24, 2021) – At 3:28 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, July 24, a four-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Sandy Springs.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of I-285. Four vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for some time.
