Sandy Springs, GA – Car Crash with Injuries on GA-400 Near Abernathy Rd
Sandy Springs, GA (January 7, 2022) – After 6 p.m. on the evening of Friday, January 7, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Sandy Springs.
Sandy Springs officials confirmed that the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of Abernathy Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the southbound lanes when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries due to the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
