Sandy Springs, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Johnson Ferry Rd & River Valley Dr
Sandy Springs, GA (September 3, 2021) – At 11:51 a.m. on the morning of Friday, September 3, a car crash with injuries occurred in Sandy Springs.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Road and River Valley Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene. This led to extensive delays until the scene was fully cleared.
