Sandy Springs, GA (May 18, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 18, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Sandy Springs.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Roswell Road. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to unknown reasons, which led to damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays.
