Rydal, GA – Serious Car Crash with Injuries at GA-140 & Landers Rd
Rydal, GA (April 25, 2021) – Before 6 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, April 24, a serious car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Rydal.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-140 and Landers Road. Two vehicles allegedly collided after entering the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained severe injuries. A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene and several victims were flown to local hospitals.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
