Roswell, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on GA-400 Near Abernathy Rd Leads to Injuries
Roswell, GA (September 3, 2022) – Around 7:24 p.m. on the evening of Friday, September 2, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Roswell.
According to the Roswell Police Department, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of exit 5, Abernathy Road. It was reported that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged in the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The right lanes of traffic were blocked for some period of time after the accident. Police urged those in the area to use Roswell Road as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time. Police will update with more information as it becomes available.
