Roswell, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash at GA-92 & Sandy Plains Rd
Roswell, GA (January 11, 2022) – At 5:53 p.m. on the evening of Monday, January 10, a car crash with injuries occurred in Roswell.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-92 and Sandy Plains Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 140 as an alternate route.
