Rossville, GA – Head-on Crash Leads to Injuries at Schmidt Rd & Hunter Dr
Rossville, GA (November 27, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a head-on collision that took place at an intersection in Rossville on the night of Saturday, November 26.
According to Rossville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Schmidt Road and Hunter Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when, for reasons that are not yet known, they collided head-on into each other. It is believed that the roads were slick in the area when the accident occurred.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. The parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
