Rome, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision with Injuries at GA-1 & Braves Blvd
Rome, GA (September 22, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Rome on Thursday evening, September 22.
According to Floyd County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-1 and Braves Boulevard. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles sustained extensive damage as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local Rome responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained harm as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
