Rome, GA – Serious Injury Accident at GA-411 & Biddy Rd Intersection
Rome, GA (October 22, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Rome on Saturday afternoon, October 22.
According to Rome Police Department officials, the accident happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of GA-411 and Biddy Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not entirely known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
