Rome, GA – Semi-Truck Collision with Injuries at GA-53 & Hermitage Rd

Rome, GA (February 22, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a tractor-trailer collision that took place at an intersection in Rome on the morning of Wednesday, February 22.

According to Floyd County officials, the accident happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of GA-53 and Hermitage Road. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, including a semi-truck. As a result of the accident, the semi-truck overturned, leading to extensive damages.
