Rome, GA – Pedestrian Accident with Severe Injuries on Martha Berry Hwy
Rome, GA (December 11, 2022) – Severe injuries were reported in a pedestrian accident that happened on a major roadway in Rome on the night of Saturday, December 10.
According to Rome Police Department officials, the accident happened around 11 p.m. at 3006 Martha Berry Highway in front of the local RaceTrac. Police confirmed that a pedestrian started to cross the street in the area when they were struck by a passenger vehicle. Police did not say if the driver remained at the scene of the crash or not.
