Rome, GA – Injuries Reported in Three-Vehicle Accident on GA-27
Rome, GA (April 25, 2021) – Around 9:40 p.m. on the night of Saturday, April 24, a three-vehicle accident with injuries occurred in Rome.
According to Floyd County officials, the accident took place on GA-27 around the area of the local Outback Steakhouse. Three vehicles collided with each other due to unknown reasons, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
