Rome, GA – Head-on Collision at Sugar Valley Rd & Cassville Rd
Rome, GA (August 21, 2021) – Around 6 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, August 21, a head-on collision occurred at an intersection in Rome.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Sugar Valley Road and Cassville Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided head-on with each other. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple people were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
