Rocky Face, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at LaFayette Rd & Chattanooga Rd
Rocky Face, GA (September 12, 2021) – Around 6:44 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, September 11, a two-vehicle crash occurred in Rocky Face.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of LaFayette Road and Chattanooga Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with each other at the intersection. The vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
