Rocky Face, GA – Motorcycle Accident Leads to Injuries on GA-201
Rocky Face, GA (April 19, 2021) – On Monday afternoon, April 19, a serious motorcycle accident with injuries took place on a major roadway in Rocky Face.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened on GA-201 when a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided with one another due to unknown reasons. The vehicles were left with extensive damages as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was badly injured due to the collision. The victim was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter for treatment of severe injuries.
Police confirmed that a portion of the roadway was blocked for some time until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
