Rocky Face, GA – Man Killed in Fatal Head-on Crash on Mill Creek Rd
Rocky Face, GA (October 30, 2022) – Around 10:30 a.m. on the morning of Friday, October 28, a head-on collision in Rocky Face took the life of a victim.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened on Mill Creek Road. Police confirmed that a 38-year-old man was traveling in a Chevrolet Colorado headed south. At the same time, a 23-year-old man was headed north in a Ford F-800. The two vehicles collided head-on after one crossed over the center lane headed around a large curve in the road. Both vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident.
Several local responders, including Rocky Face fire crews and paramedics, were called to the scene to help those in need. The 38-year-old driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Due to the severity of the collision, the road was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
