Rocky Face, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at GA-201 & Houston Valley Rd
Rocky Face, GA (January 6, 2022) – Around 9 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, January 6, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Rocky Face.
Whitfield County officials confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of GA-201 and Houston Valley Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when police stated that one vehicle entered the intersection, colliding forcefully with another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released at this time. Police continue their investigation into the accident.
