Rocky Face, GA – Car Crash at GA-201 & Houston Valley Rd Intersection
Rocky Face, GA (August 17, 2021) – At 1:56 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, August 16, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Rocky Face.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-201 and Houston Valley Road. One vehicle came around a curve in the road and went through the stop sign, slamming into the other vehicle. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
