Riverdale, GA – Four Killed in Fatal Accident at GA-138 Intersection
Riverdale, GA (July 25, 2021) – On Sunday morning, July 25, four people were killed in a fatal accident at an intersection in Riverdale.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-138 and West Fayetteville Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided head-on with one another. One of the vehicles, identified as a Ford, sped off following the collision. It is not known if police have yet identified the driver.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. Four people, including a woman and her unborn child, were pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. It is not known if any of the victims were injured in the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
