Rising Fawn, GA – Serious Multi-Vehicle Crash at GA-136 & Memorial Dr
Rising Fawn, GA (April 23, 2022) – On Friday evening, April 22, a serious multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Rising Fawn.
According to Dade County officials, the accident happened in the evening hours at the intersection of GA-136 and Memorial Drive. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they simultaneously entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles sustained heavy damage in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated by fire crews. The victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
