Ringgold, GA – One Dead in Fatal Collision in SB Lanes of I-75
Ringgold, GA (June 7, 2021) – On Monday, June 7, a fatal collision occurred on a major highway in Ringgold.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 345. Two or more vehicles collided on the highway as they traveled in the southbound lanes, causing immense damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. Fire crews extricated one or more victims from their vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and several others were injured.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of traffic were blocked for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
