Ringgold, GA – Ambulance Crash at Old Alabama Hwy & Evitt Pkwy
Ringgold, GA (July 16, 2021) – On Friday afternoon, July 16, an ambulance crash occurred at an intersection in Ringgold that led to injuries.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Old Alabama Highway and Evitt Parkway. An EMS vehicle was traveling in the area when it entered the intersection and was struck by a passenger vehicle. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged due to the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. A second EMS vehicle was called to the scene and took multiple patients to the hospital. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
