Powder Springs, GA (April 22, 2021) – Around 8:38 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 22, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Powder Springs.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Richard D. Sailors Parkway and New Macland Road. Two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, leading to the collision. The vehicles involved were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The intersection was blocked in several lanes for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
