Powder Springs, GA – Car Accident at Dallas Hwy & Midway Rd
Powder Springs, GA (August 14, 2021) – At 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, August 14, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Powder Springs.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dallas Highway and Midway Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
All left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to extensive delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
