Powder Springs, GA – Car Accident at Brownsville Rd & C H James Pkwy
Powder Springs, GA (August 2, 2021) – Around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, August 2, a car accident with injuries occurred in Powder Springs.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident took place at the intersection of Brownsville Road and C.H. James Parkway. Police started to pursue a driver in the area when they became involved in an accident with multiple other vehicles. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Several victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time.
