Pooler, GA – Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-16
Pooler, GA (May 20, 2021) – At 4:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, May 20, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Pooler.
According to Chatham County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-16 when multiple vehicles collided with each other. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One adult and one child were injured in the accident. Police confirmed that one of the victims was ejected from their vehicle.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
