Perry, GA – Mail Truck Accident at Lake Joy Rd & Glen Oaks Rd
Perry, GA (April 15, 2021) – On Wednesday, April 14, a mail truck accident occurred at an intersection in Perry that led to injuries.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Lake Joy Road and Glen Oaks Road. An ambulance and mail truck collided with each other in the area. The ambulance was responding to a call and had its lights and sirens on.
Due to the severity of the accident, both vehicles spun out following the collision. The mail truck overturned onto its side.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. One or more victims were injured but they are expected to make a full recovery.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
