Perry, GA – Drivers Injured in Car Accident at Sam Nunn Blvd & WF Ragin Dr
Perry, GA (January 27, 2023) – Two drivers sustained injuries in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Perry on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 24.
According to Perry Police, the accident happened around 4:54 p.m. at the intersection of Sam Nunn Boulevard and WF Ragin Drive. Police confirmed that an adult male was traveling west in a Jeep Grand Cherokee and suddenly lost control of his vehicle, causing it to collide with the front of a Nissan Frontier that was headed south. The vehicles were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Several Perry responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Both drivers complained of injuries following the collision. The parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
All directions of traffic were delayed for some time following the accident as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. Perry Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
