Oxford, GA – Car Crash at GA-81 & Cannon Farm Rd Intersection
Oxford, GA (July 9, 2021) – On Friday evening, July 9, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Oxford.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-81 and Cannon Farm Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other forcefully, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police urged those traveling through to avoid the area for some time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
