Norman Park, GA – Rear-End Accident Leads to Injuries on GA-35
Norman Park, GA (June 15, 2021) – On Friday, June 11, a rear-end accident led to injuries on a major roadway in Norman Park.
According to officials, the accident happened on GA-35 around the area of West Weeks Street. A man was traveling in the area when he suddenly braked due to a deer jumping out on the road in front of him. That is when a second vehicle did not stop in time and slammed into the rear of the first vehicle.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the first vehicle was taken to Colquitt Regional for treatment of injuries but is expected to be okay.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene following the collision. The roadway was blocked for a short period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
